Realistically, they'd hope for an contest for the urn in Australia where they retain a possibility to secure the famous trophy following the initial matches.

That will not be happening this time, though, after the hosts' dominant 82-run win in Adelaide put the hosts leading three-nil for the fourth straight contest on Australian grounds.

England's famous supporters' group, England's supporters' group, have a large group traveling for the concluding fixtures in New South Wales and Victoria.

In addition, there are organized trips who will be vacationing overseas, as well as families and friends planning a dream holiday.

The Disappointed Travelers

A group of four supporters are among those affected.

The group had their travel arrangements and match passes arranged for the Boxing Day and New Year Tests "well ahead of time", hoping to witness a long-awaited triumph.

Alex said the "entertainment" of head coach Brendon McCullum's 'Bazball' in recent times had "renewed interest in" Test cricket for English supporters.

Yet the fans said they had minimal hopes for the final two games - and all they are hoping for from the players is "a show of spirit".

"All analysts points it out, but it all comes down to mental resilience. 'Bazball' has been turned into a buzzword now that is just, like, unrealistic play," stated Rory Ryding.

"Over the course of five days, you should dig in. Playing at deliveries 'outside the line has not been part of the textbooks, and that is primarily due to the frontline batsmen."

The Remaining Matches

Asked whether he believed England will secure a victory in the current series, Sam said: "The evidence suggests the Aussies are just too good right now."

"It will require multiple performers that makes a significant contribution and produces a match-winning display."

Even with the series lost, the fans are looking forward to the trip.

"We will have a fantastic experience regardless," added another sibling. "We have to go with that attitude."

A teacher, Katie is focused on enjoying the lengthy journey as part of her time off.

"If all else fails, I can play golf to turn to," Katie concluded.
