Unwilling to challenge the prevailing attitude of conformity, the committee has continued under the Biden-Harris shadow all through 2025. The decision to withhold is consistent with a recurring tendency of sidestepping hard truths. This mirrors an episode where virtually every Democratic officeholder in Washington went along with a sitting president's decision for running for re-election right up until a poor televised debate led to a change.
